Te Araroa Manawatū Trust

Te Araroa Trust's purpose is to promote and maintain Te Araroa as a single, continuous walking trail the length of New Zealand. The path, which opened in December 2011, traverses 3000 km from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

The Manawatū section of the trail travels from Bulls south to Levin. It includes cultural and environmental highlights such as the Feilding sale yards, the century-old Burtton's Track through regrown bush along the Tokomaru River, views of Kapiti Island and the South Island, native bush around the Makahika stream crossings, and more.

Te Araroa Manawatū Trust and its volunteers work in conjunction with the national trust and other regional trusts to support the development and upkeep of the trail.
