Environment Network Manawatū (ENM) is incredibly fortunate to have had the support of Brad Vipond, whose photography and videography skills have significantly enriched the organisation’s work. Brad has generously volunteered his time to document numerous events attended by ENM, helping to visually convey the story of its initiatives and the vibrant community it serves.
Through his lens, Brad has captured the essence of ENM—the people, the passion, and the purpose behind its efforts. His work has not only enhanced ENM’s marketing, publishing, and social media presence, but has also been made available to member groups, providing them with access to high-quality visual content that might otherwise have been out of reach.
Brad has photographed a wide range of events, including Green Corridors, Future Living Skills workshops, and the Palmerston North Repair Café. His images bring these events to life, showcasing the energy and engagement of participants while promoting the value of community-led environmental action.
A lifelong photography enthusiast, Brad admits he prefers to be behind the camera rather than in front of it. He recalls that it wasn’t until high school that he truly embraced photography as a storytelling medium. He particularly enjoys capturing landscapes and crowds, finding a unique satisfaction in portraying either the energy or stillness of a scene. For Brad, the ability to convey a feeling—not just a fleeting moment, but the mood behind it—is a powerful and rewarding aspect of his craft.
His quiet dedication and keen eye for detail have left a lasting impact on ENM. Thanks to his contributions, the organisation now has a growing library of professional-quality photographs that reflect the diversity and dynamism of its work.
In addition to supporting ENM, Brad has been able to build his professional portfolio through this experience. ENM is proud to have played a role in helping him develop his craft and gain exposure for his talent.
The organisation extends its heartfelt thanks to Brad for his ongoing support and for helping to share its story in such a powerful and visually compelling way.
